Set for global domination, once COVID-19 permits, Chris Andreucci is a Country artist with incredible individuality. Already having made appearances at SSE Hydo Arena in Scotland and closed a recording contract, the artist is planning to move to Nashville, the heart of Country music.
Having been released on December 21st, ‘What Don’t Kill You’ is something to show to your friends who may be unfamiliar with Chris’ music and the Country genre.
Armed with 6 tracks inspired by personal experiences as well as musical influences Brent Cobb, Luke Combs & Brad Paisley, ‘What Don’t Kill You’ is quickly becoming a hit within the Country world.
Tracks such as ‘Here Comes the Rain‘ showcase soft melancholic lyricism, while the gentle, delicate breeze of ‘Tonight, I’m Yours’ makes the song an easy listen. Pop-induced tune ‘Drinking Song’ aptly flows well against the mid-tempo change up in ‘Thunderstorms and Rain’, whereas the heartwarming number that is ‘The Only Love That Never Broke My Heart‘, combined with EP closer ‘Freedom’, ensures that the EP is armed with character.
On the highs and lows of the past year, Chris Andreucci explained that “2020 has been a crazy year. It was set to be a year full of highs – a performance at C2C Festival at The Hydro in Glasgow alongside my favourite artists such as Luke Combs, an EP launch and then a move out to Nashville in July. But in reality, like so many other people, the year was filled with lows…“
“ …I’ve been fortunate enough to still be able to do something that I love and I’m hopeful that next year things will slowly get back to normal. I’m looking forward to playing the rescheduled C2C gig in Glasgow as well as the Texas Scottish Festival, in Decatur next May.”
