After a whirlwind two-month tour in the USA, Cornwall-based singer-songwriter Sarah McQuaid is back in the UK and ready to hit the stage again. Her warm-up UK tour begins on 16 January 2026, and she’s already deep into creating her next album.
A New Studio, A Fresh Start
Sarah’s new studio is almost ready. “After sorting some water issues, it’s finally ready for recording,” she says. This new space will allow her to track songs, experiment with sounds, and bring her new music to life over the Christmas break.
She’s currently working on half-written songs, guitar recordings, instrumentals, and even an a cappella demo captured on tour. Fans supporting her on Patreon and Ko-Fi can enjoy early previews, getting a sneak peek of the music as it develops.
Testing New Material Live
During her autumn tours, Sarah introduced new songs to live audiences. One standout, “I’m Slowing Down As I Get Older (And That’s Good)”, received amazing reactions and could become the title track of her upcoming album. Despite the reflective title, Sarah shows no signs of slowing down.
2026 Tour Plans
Sarah’s January–February UK tour spans Cornwall, Dorset, Hertfordshire, and more. She then heads to Germany, the Netherlands, and Denmark for a six-week EU tour, followed by an extended UK tour starting in April. Autumn 2026 sees her return to the USA, with a final UK run in late November.
The Garage Sessions
Fans can also enjoy Sarah’s Garage Sessions, a series of videos filmed in her converted garage studio. The first three are online, with more planned, including collaborations with guest artists.
