Anna Smerdova continues to make her mark on the international piano scene with a new victory at WPTA Spain. The competition forms part of the global programme organised by the World Piano Teachers Association, an organisation dedicated to creating real performance opportunities for young pianists.

The WPTA competitions are members of the Alink–Argerich Foundation, an independent international network for pianists and piano competitions. Co-founded by legendary pianist Martha Argerich, the foundation connects many of the world’s most respected competitions and promotes artistic excellence at an international level.
