Devan is preparing to introduce himself to listeners with the release of his debut single, “Wyatt Earp,” due out on 3rd April 2026. The track signals the start of a new chapter for the March, Cambridgeshire artist, whose sound is informed by a close connection to family, place and lived experience. In a growing UK country and Americana field, Devan arrives with a story that is distinctly his own.
Raised in a hardworking family with deep local roots, Devan has said that his background continues to shape both his identity and his music. That foundation is evident in the themes that define his writing, including resilience, respect, family and belonging. His songs are not built on image alone, but on personal truth and the values that have guided him.
“Wyatt Earp” also stands out because it is Devan’s first-ever songwriting and recording experience. Until now, he had never written or recorded music, despite always loving to sing. The release therefore represents a bold creative step, taken not from industry planning but from a genuine wish to express something of his own.
The single has already received support from radio, including a play on CountryLine Homegrown with Tim Prottey-Jones. Outside his music career, Devan works as a carpenter, is involved with Sovereign Quarter Horses, plays rugby for March Bears RUFC and enjoys cold water swimming and adventure. With a debut EP expected later this year and an EP launch planned at Rockin’ the Country, he is beginning his career with momentum and a strong sense of authenticity.
