Stefanie Rummel, the award winning performer and singer, is taking her musical cabaret, Chansons, to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe from August 5th until August 21st.
The show features French songs and stories from Piaf, Brel, and Rummel herself and will be spoken in English while being sung in both English and French in order to bring an international flavor to Scotland!

Chansons first premiered in Germany in 2019 and has since been performed all over the world both virtually and in-person in New York, San Francisco, New Zealand Fringe, Reykjavik Fringe Festival, and countless other locations and venues. Chansons has already been nominated or won several awards since its debut including getting first place in the Chansons category of the German Rock and Pop Award 2022 and getting nominated for Producer of the Year and Choice Theatermaker 2021.
Stefanie Rummel is an award-winning singer and musical theatre actress that has produced several one-woman shows and musical cabarets. She has played on shows including Jesus Christ Superstar, Kiss Me Kate, and Sweet Charity with many of her own shows being performed internationally in English, French, and German.
Rummel recently became a finalist as the Best Vocalist at the InterContinental Music Award 2022. If Stefanie Rummel’s previous awards and acclamations are any indication in what to expect with Chansons, then it appears as though the audience is in for a treat.
