American-Scottish Singer-Songwriter Daisy Chute has recently performed at locations across Scotland after touring the UK with sold out shows in London. Following the success of her critically acclaimed EPs, ‘Songs of Solace’ and ‘Cradle Songs’ the vocally hypnotic Edinburgh-born folk singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Daisy Chute has seen success grow in strides.
As support on Chutes Scotland shows, Crawford Mack accompanied Daisy after the release of his debut album in October 2020, with ‘Bread & Circuses’. Crawford Mack has featured on BBC Scotland’s ‘The Edit’, where they included his songs ‘Hope Street’ & ‘Kicks’ from his second record ‘on Second Thoughts’; 2023 is set to see the release of a live album with PX Records.
Daisy Chute & Crawford Mack have recently recorded a hauntingly beautiful new single, ‘Parallel Roads’ which is performed as an acoustic song. The song showcases the gentle and sensitive vocal tone of both singers, alongside the elegant performance style which is a demonstration of the future of folk music.
