Originally recorded in 2002, the new christmas song that features on The AM Band album ‘A Global Carol’ entitled Freedom in the Air is now being released in support of charity. Released to publicise Two Christmas Just Giving appeals for The Red Cross Africa Famine Appeal and A Rocha International Rainforest Charity, Freedom in the Air is a christmas song that you will want to become familiar with.
The album ‘A Global Carol’ is based on a very loose adaptation of Charles Dickens classic A Christmas Carol and features this delightful soon-to-be Christmas classic. Freedom in the Air was recorded at Metropolis Studios and Abbey Road and features a London-based choir.
Lead single Andy Mitchell leads the songs and blends beautifully with the choir to create a sense of magic on this Christmas song.
The campaign of this single is to help support a charity who raise money and awareness of the plight of people in the horn of Africa who are undergoing yet another drought (Fifth rainless season) that is leading to the deaths of millions and is a direct result of Global climate change, much of which has been caused by man-made emissions.
