How important is the visual element of music? (album covers, music videos etc)
“Since way before August 1981. Night Flight, Austin City Limits, Soul Train, Her Haw, Variety shows, Solid Gold, Duran, Duran, Miami Vice, Walter Hill, stylistic, fast, artistic, I’m afraid I am a product of images. Album covers, magazines, posters, commercials, popular culture. It would be impossible for me to separate myself from the images I’ve absorbed/assimilated.” – Scott Foulk (vocals)

Do you think the above has changed with the introduction of streaming platforms and the decline of physical sales?
“I’m sure the biz has become vastly different from a business standpoint. That it’s easier is good. That it’s an artist driven medium is also good. It’s also fun to leverage visual content against your song. I doubt I shall ever tire of music videos. Just when you think you’ve seen it all….” – Scott Foulk (vocals)
What’s the hardest thing that every musician must face?
“There are so many. So many really talented, rare, special, gifted, beautiful, sensitive, insightful artists are alive and working at their thing.
“Figuring out how to navigate through the industry in an effort to get their music heard. Have you ever had any instances where you felt like giving up the dream of music? No, I’ve had to take a break or two due to outside circumstances but never wanted to quit playing music.” – Bruce Condon (lead/rhythm guitar)
