Currently on a UK tour showcasing their new single ‘Lightning’, The Footlight District are taking Alternative rock by a storm and demonstrating their original and unique sound.
The latest single is full of powerful and energetic guitar riffs that can onl;y be described as full on and electric. The harmonies from the vocals are produced to fit just above the clashing riffs allowing the distorted sound to mix all into one dominant sound.
If you haven’t yet heard of The Footlight District, let me introduce you. The Chicago based band is formed of siblings, bringing a togetherness to this band that you may not have seen before. The siblings have faced devastating hardships that have inspired their music and strengthened their bond. In 2005, A natural disaster Hurricane Katrina destroyed their home, leaving the siblings homeless and in hardship. Through these difficult circumstances, the bands have created a strong relationship that communicates these struggles through creativity,
